My hiking experience

                                                                 Hiking experience We went to Champa devi. About hiking it was very  memorable, tiring and enjoyable too. As we were told to gather at school at 7:45 a.m. and was supposed to start our journey from 8:00 but some of my friends were late so we started our journey from 8:15 a.m. In the bus we enjoyed a lot we danced, sang song clicked photos. We reached there at 9:25 a.m. and started our hiking. There were a lot of ladders to go up and saw a resort. After waling a while from the resort we saw the whole Kathmandu valley, ranges of mountains and a layer of pollution that covered the Kathmandu valley. After walking some time we stopped to have lunch. After having lunch we continued our hiking and we were walking so slow that we could not reach the top and returned back. Some of my friend who were walking in the front told that they saw a leopard and told us to be quiet. Again we saw the Kathmandu valley with a beauti

Dashain experience

                                                                   Dashain This dashain was very nice. There are ten days in dashain. In the first day is known as Ghatasthapana. In this day people fill a vessel with sand and sow maize and barley seeds and is covered andworshipped for 10 days. The seventh day is called Fulpati which is also known as Saptami. In this day I went to my maternal uncle's house. The eighth day is known as Maha Astami. On this dayy domestic animals are sacrificed to Goddess Kali and the meat is eaten as prasad. Maha Nawami is the nineth day of Dashain. The tenth day is to most important one. In this day the smaller one are blessed by the elders and are tika also.

Tihar experience

                                                                   Tihar Tihar is a festival of lights. My Tihar was very good. I went to my maternal uncle's house. There are 5 days in Tihar. Kag Tihar is the first day. In this day I did not did kag puja because no crow would come there in my maternal uncle's house. The second day is Kukur Tihar. In this day I did puja, put tika and garland our dog.The third day is called Laxmi Puja. In this day we did Laxmi puja and all the houses were full of lights as well as we made rangoli of different colours. There were many rangoli in each and every house. The fourth day is Govardan Puja. At night my grandmother made seil roti. In this day also I didn't did puja to goru because there was no goru in my home. I was sad but my grandparents told me that in this day you can puja the buffalo so I did puja to the buffalo and gave green grass to eat. The last day is called Bhai Tika. In this day whole member of our family was together.

Boudhanath Stupa

                                                       Story of Boudhanah Stupa This is the story of Lichhavi period. Once upon a time, there was a palace of lichhavi king Bikramaditya, once stood where the Narayanhity palace currently stands. King Bikramaditya instructed that Dhunge dhara should be built in the southern part of palace courtyard. But, there was no sign of water at Dhunge dhara. So, the king consulted astrologers. They suggested that a human sacrifice with a male candidate having ''Battis Lakshanas'' or thirty-two perfections should be performed. Only the king himself and his two sons were suitable candidates. So, the king decided to sacrifice himself and ordered one of his son to sacrifice him so that sign of water could be seen at Dhunge dhara. According to local mythology, during the time of sacrifice, the head flew off to a place nearby Sankhu Bajrayogini Temple.
